The Italian firm said it has already been experiencing significant changes having modified and improved its corporate organisation and structure.
Established as a family business in the early 1980s, Damotek was born as Vanzetti & Ricotto – one of the first companies in Italy to produce equipment for CO2 filing.
In the early 1990s, the name was changed to Vanzetti Engineering, with innovation and development its new focus.
In 2007, the Vanzetti Equipment brand was introduced, originating from the wish to create a business unit specifically dedicated to firefighting and testing sectors.
The new brand took over the baton focusing on these sectors, while Vanzetti Engineering started exploring new markets.
The company was bought by a new owner, Mr Morrica, in 2011.
In a statement, the company said 2019 is its ultimate challenge.
“Vanzetti Equipment changes name to Damotek backed by its remarkable staff, its well-known production plant, its experience and know-how,” it said.
“This is a change that illustrates our brand’s growth, the strength of our research and development, as well as our constant presence in the market as a leading brand, alongside the world’s major players.”
Damotek will exhibit under the new brand at Safety Expo in Bergamo, Italy in September, at Intersec Dubai in January 2020 and at Interschutz Hannover in June 2020.
