This acquisition complements SCC’s existing SCC product line offerings of DOT-39 high-pressure gas cylinders, UN/DOT-rated transport vessels and ASME-approved tanks.
Cranford, New Jersey-based EFB’s line of valves and lower-pressure cylinders diversifies the SCC product set and positions the Pennsylvania-based company for growth in new markets while maintaining established EFB customer relationships.
“EFB has an outstanding reputation for producing high-quality products used in the refrigerant, air sampling and calibration gas markets,” SCC said in a statement.
Michael Lewis, President and CEO of SCC, said, “We are pleased and excited that we can maintain the EFB legacy. We look to grow the product line organically and through new applications for the existing EFB technology.”
SCC is a process equipment manufacturer, providing integrated engineering solutions, primarily focused on fluid and gas handling containment.
