The event will now be held from 21st – 22nd July, at the same venue in Munich, Germany.
The Summit is the first flagship event under the new H2 View brand and the desire to do this justice, coupled with gasworld’s pre-requisite requirement to maximise business opportunities for all speakers, sponsors and delegates at its events, renders its rescheduling a necessary decision to take.
The Summit aims to maintain its current theme and agenda and will stay as true to this as possible.
The continued outbreak of Covid-19 has now passed 115,000 confirmed cases worldwide at the time of writing, including more than 4,000 fatalities, with travel restrictions also continuing to be issued by various countries globally.
The full statement from gasworld and H2 View is as follows:
With the current uncertainty around global travel plans surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, we have taken the difficult decision to reschedule H2 View’s Hydrogen Summit 2020 in Munich, originally set to take place from 7-8th April (2020).
The event will now be held from 21st – 22nd July, at the same venue in Munich, Germany.
We are keenly aware of our responsibilities as an established events organiser for many years, and we have been monitoring the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19) on a daily basis. Our staff, speaker and customer safety is paramount and despite our commitment to calm and caution rather than panic and alarm, in light of the continued outbreak of this virus and its evident impact on business travel we have taken the decision to reschedule the event in the interests of all involved.
The Hydrogen Summit 2020 is the flagship event for our H2 View portfolio and we believe that by moving the event we will be able to not only do this launch event justice, but also do our speakers, sponsors and delegates justice by providing the kind of event they would expect from us. Our aim is always to provide the maximum business opportunities, and a forum for discussion and debate with as many key stakeholders as possible.
We understand that this will be disappointing to many of you who were still planning to attend the Summit in April, but hope that you will all still be able to join us later in the year, when things will hopefully have settled down across various regions.
All bookings will be honoured for the new dates. If you cannot attend the Summit during these new dates, please let us know and we will be able to discuss your booking on an individual basis.
