The company has entered into five heads of agreement with subsidiaries of Petronas Chemicals Group to undertake the expansion and supply of nitrogen.
In a filing to Bursa Malaysia earlier this week, the company said the project will provide additional nitrogen to serve new demand within Kertih and guaranteed back up supply for the customers.
The project also includes the construction and installation of a new nitrogen facility, upgrades to an existing nitrogen facility, the enhancement of the current back-up facility and operation and maintenance of the nitrogen supply.
The project is expected to start by February 2021.
