The cargo was loaded onboard the Seri Cemara LNG carrier on 25th September to be delivered to Taiwan.
As the world’s first FLNG facility to produce LNG from two remote gas fields, since 2017 PFLNG SATU has produced and exported nearly 3.18 million tonnes of LNG.
Commenting on the company’s milestone, Abang Yusuf Abang Puteh, Vice President, Petronas, said, “This achievement showcases our leadership in the LNG industry, where we continue to benefit from our first-mover advantage to monetise remote and stranded gas fields with FLNG solutions.”
“We are proud to celebrate this milestone cargo from PFLNG SATU,” he added.
The facility is designed operate at water depths of up to 200 metres with a production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of LNG per year.
