The contract provides Okra Energy with the option to exclusively supply engineering, construction and liquefaction equipment for the Lipigas corporation, as well as to operate and maintain all of its future LNG plants throughout Latin America.
In 2019, Okra Energy commissioned the first small-scale LNG facility for Perú, one of five in Latin America.
