Operating the LifeGas business under the brand ‘nexAir Healthcare’, nexAir will incorporate the packaged gas products operations with its other nexAir-branded businesses.
The acquisition includes 16 LifeGas branch locations in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky and Tennessee, a Linde packaged gas production facility in Georgia, and approximately 200 Linde employees who will now be employed by nexAir.
“The LifeGas business along with the Union City plant are terrific complements to our already existing business in the region,” said Bill Proctor, President of nexAir.
“The addition of these locations and employees will greatly increase our ability to meet all of our customers’ needs and expectations.”
“The expansion of the nexAir Healthcare business and joining of knowledge bases in LifeGas, Linde and current nexAir employees will be felt immediately by all of our customers throughout the southeast.”
The acquisition was effective as of 1st January (2020).
