The JV aims to build 100 of Taronis’ patented 300KW Venturi Plasma Arc™ gasification units for the production of MagneGas metal cutting fuel to serve the Turkish domestic metal cutting market.
The partnership between Taronis Technologies and MC Consulting Teknoloji Enerji Danişmanlik Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi (MC Consulting) has the support of the Turkish Government, which is investing approximately $20m in the venture.
Scott Mahoney, CEO of Taronis, said, “This significant new joint venture in Turkey marks a major step in the rise of alternative fuels to acetylene for metal cutting and other applications.”
