His arrival at Carbon8 Systems coincides with the company’s first commercial project going live at the Vicat Group’s cement plant at Montalieu in France.
It also follows the recent announcement of the company’s first pilot project in the Energy from Waste sector – at AVR Energy’s Duiven plant in The Netherlands.
Commenting on the appointment, John Pilkington, Executive Chair of Carbon8 Systems, said, “Paul’s experience at BWB, having led several M&A transactions and financial improvement projects, will be hugely valuable to the Carbon8 Systems team as we embark on the next phase of our growth.”
“We have a proven carbon capture and use (CCU) process that’s now deployed in two industrial sectors where greenhouse gas emissions reduction is critical towards achieving Net Zero.”
Collins, added, “It’s an exciting time to be joining the team at Carbon8 Systems and I look forward to the journey ahead.”
“With governments around the world committing to Net Zero, and more and more large industrial companies committing to carbon neutrality, Carbon8 Systems is well-positioned to capitalise on the growing demand for cost-effective, market-ready carbon capture and use solutions.”
