Valued at RM28 million ($7m), the facility will primarily support increased demand from STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor manufacturer.

Built with state-of-the-art technology, the ECOGAN5 is highly energy efficient, cost-effective and reliable, delivering a continuous stream of gases nitrogen.
Since 1960, Linde has invested in building numerous world-class facilities in Malaysia, including Air Separation Units in Pengerang and Shah Alam, large capacity nitrogen plants in Pasir Gudang, pipeline networks for oxygen and nitrogen in Pasir Gudang, and a state-of-art cylinder filling facility in Banting.
Linde also established its Remote Operating Centre (ROC) in Hicom, which allows for the remote monitoring, operation and control of more than 100 Linde plants across the ASEAN, South Asia and South Pacific regions.
