Linde will bring its wealth of experience in the construction and operation of electrolysis plants and also contribute to the economic and safe operation of the plants.
The Irish-domiciled company said it will also support Hydrospider in logistics in order to be able to supply the filling stations efficiently and reliably with hydrogen.

Owned equally by H2 Energy and Alpiq, with a 45% share each, Hydrospider is building Switzerland’s first commercial hydrogen production plant.
Located at the Gösgen hydropower plant, Alpiq and H2 Energy plan to use hydropower to produce hydrogen for use in commercial operations, namely heavy-duty hydrogen trucks from Hyundai Motor Company.
The hydrogen produced by Hydrospider will be used to power the first 50 of 1,600 fuel cell electric trucks, which Hyundai and H2 Energy aim to be on Swiss roads by 2025.
