Page (pictured right) has advised the Board that he wishes to step back from full time employment and will be leaving the Institute during the third quarter of 2021.
“It has been an honour and privilege to have led the Institute for almost 10 years. I thank Phil and the Board for their unwavering support and encouragement; it has been a real pleasure to work with them and to have had the benefit of their individual and collective wisdom and guidance,” Page said in a statement.
“I am looking forward to working with the Board over the coming months as it finds the next CEO and to ease the way for my successor to take the helm at this vibrant company.”
Philip Bainbridge, Chairman of the Board of the Global CCS Institute, commented, “Brad will be leaving the Institute after 10 years of dedication to advancing the deployment of CCS around the world.”

A global search is now underway to find a new CEO of the Institute.
