Known for its mountain top golf course, beautiful views and skiing facilities, GAWDA returns to the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for this year’s three-day event.
“This event is the best combination of organic intimate networking and formal professional take-home value that you can find at an industry event,” Butler Moore told gasworld.
Day 1
The Seven Springs Regional Meeting begins with a day filled of networking opportunities. After registration, delegates are invited to a networking lunch at The Matterhorn, before boarding the shuttle to the sporting clays complex, surrounding the Laurel Highlands.
Monday evening will see attendees head to a Mountain BBQ at the Foggy Google, located on the top level of a Ski Lodge, for an evening packed with networking opportunities, live music, food and drinks.
Day 2
Tuesday morning will kick off at 7am with breakfast, followed by GAWDA’s Reverse Contact Booth Programme, new to this year’s Seven Springs event. The Reverse Contact Booth gives distributors the opportunity to host at a table top, presenting their company to suppliers who will be ‘walking the floor’.
The Business Sessions of the day will begin at 9am, featuring keynote presentations from:
- Marie Ffolkes, President of Americas at Air Products
- Chris Ebeling, Executive Vice-President of Sales and Marketing, Messer Americas
- Anne Hayes, Vice-President and Corporate Counsel, Indiana Oxygen Company
After a busy morning, delegates will leave the reverse contact booth and business session filled with new business concepts, best practises, and new industry contacts.
After lunch, Tuesday afternoon will host more opportunities for distributors and suppliers to network with each other.
Delegates are invited to take part in an 18-hole Golf Scramble Tournament at the mountaintop golf course before a Tuesday evening reception. The Rosenthal family of Economy Welding will host the Tuesday Reception at The Mountain Club, a GAWDA Seven Springs tradition. Prizes from the day’s golf tournament will also be presented at the evening reception.
Day 3
A DOT Compliance Workshop with GAWDA consultant Mike Dodd will see the end of the GAWDA 2019 Seven Springs Regional Meeting. Within the workshop Dodd will carry out a half-day session on DOT compliance.
A full review of the GAWDA Seven Springs 2019 Regional Meeting will be available on the gasworld website and in the upcoming August 2019 US edition of gasworld magazine.
