This year, 14 scholarships of $2,000 are available. Students who have received a scholarship in the past may reapply.
The goal of the GAWDA Foundation is to promote education within the gases and welding industry. Scholarships are available to children and employees of current GAWDA member companies.
The programme is funded through GAWDA-member contributions, and the association’s match of those contributions not to exceed $25,0000.
Deadline for applications is Friday 15thMarch (2019).
GAWDA Professional Compliance seminar
In addition, GAWDA is hosting its spring professional compliance seminar between 19th-21st March (2019). The seminar will be held at Chart Industries, Ball Ground, GA (near Atlanta).
The seminar will help attendees prepare for DOT (department of transport) and FDA (food and drug administration) medical gas and food and beverage gas audits and include strategies for audit survival.
The seminar will include Chart’s presentations on operating and maintaining cryogenic containers.
