Titled Asia-Pacific: Realising New Market Opportunities & Supply Chains, the premiere virtual conference will address all of the year’s talking points and focus on a region that unites so many of these hot topics – the Asia-Pacific.
Supported by principal sponsor INOXCVA and feature sponsor Herose, the one-day event will give attendees the opportunity to network with industry fellows in cutting-edge virtual networking in the form of one-to-one live chats and video meetings.
Sanjiv Lamba, recently appointed COO of Linde plc, heads that agenda. No stranger to gasworld events, having previously spoken at the Future-Proofing Industrial Gases Summit in Singapore in June 2019, Lamba will officially get the event underway with the Opening Keynote.
Following Lamba will be a gripping agenda featuring panel sessions dedicated to China, India and Japan, a Pan-Asia Panel exploring the many strongly emerging industrial gas markets in the region, and a Hot Topic Gases session that promises to be as diverse as it is hot – helium, CO2 and electronics will all be up for discussion.
Among the esteemed speakers and industrial gas stakeholders on the agenda for the event are Air Liquide Japan CEO Virginie Cavalli and Yoshiki Koizumi, President of The Gas Review, both of whom will share their insights into the Japanese gases market of today and tomorrow.
A dynamic China-focused session will dive into the fundamentals of the China market and its supply chain, as well as the Impact of Covid-19 (coronavirus). This will be dissected by a joint talk from Edgar Hotard – ARCH Venture Partners, Shanghai Baosteel Gases and SIAD Venture Partner, Senior Advisor – and Bluce Ren and Sheng Zhongke.
Additionally, gasworld Publisher and CEO John Raquet will neatly dovetail the opening Japan and China sessions with a talk exploring the two, titled Changing Landscape in China & APAC Region.
A dedicated Indian panel session will include a talk from AIIGMA President Saket Tiku, while other confirmed speakers include Dr. David Hart, Director of E4tech, and James Laybourn, Asia-Pacific Business Development Manager at DNV GL – Oil & Gas, both of whom will take part in a panel devoted to Clean Fuels/Energies.
