Releasing its latest innovation on Tuesday (12th April), the Florida-based firm said the new device provides cryogenic facilities, laboratories, food packagers, and warehousing industries with low temperature freezers the ability to monitor potentially hazardous oxygen levels in conditions down to -50°C.
Being able to monitor in extremely low temperatures, however, is not the only new feature the RAD-0002-ZR Oxygen Deficiency Alarm brings to the market. The innovation’s zirconium oxide sensor ensures greater longevity under normal operating conditions extending the useful life of the device.
Travis Lenander, CEO of GasLab, said, “Our team identified a gap in the marketplace for low temperature oxygen deficiency monitoring. Our engineers were then able to design andbuild a device that exceeds the specifications and performance required in the market and at a lower cost.”

Additional features of the GasLab RAD-0002-ZR also include both audible and visual alarm indications, allowing the end-user to be instantly notified before the enter an oxygen deficient environment, and an LCD screen to display oxygen levels.
