The 11,000gallon tank is an upgrade from the previous 6,000gallon Chart tank, almost doubling capacity. The additional capacity will provide WestAir with more of a buffer to handle the current volumes the company is seeing in Southern California.
The Siphon 100® Bulk Storage Tank, manufactured and installed by Chart, will be used for argon service for HP bottle and liquid cylinder filling.
Chart’s Siphon 100 bulk tank will provide a reliable performance. The siphon technology reduces the heat from pumping, ensure minimal product losses and will give a better performance and longer life on West Air’s cryogenic pumps.
