Valued at approximately $4m, the acquisition will see Chart broaden its repair and service capabilities for mobile equipment, including trailers, ISO containers, stationary and transportable tanks, pumps, flowmeters, and LNG fuelling station.
Jill Evanko, CEO and President of Chart Industries, said, “The CSC acquisition opens a broader geographic market to our repair, service and leasing segment and broadens our capabilities for repair and service to our existing customers.”
“We want to welcome our CSC team, with whom we have worked over many years. We are pleased to have the CSC team continue as part of the Chart family under the continued leadership of Håkan Karlsson, CSC President.”
The capabilities related to LNG stations are expected to be a big focus for Chart and need for its customers in the region. This comes as many European companies are looking to slash carbon emissions and make a shift to greener alternatives.
As well as assisting Chart with this, CSC will also bring strong relationships with key customers in the marine industry that could benefit from this offering, along with all the other repair and service capabilities offered.
