The event, titled CCUS 2022: Time To Deliver, is set to take place on the 18th – 19th October in London and will feature a range of speakers to discuss the latest developments in CCUS.
As the net zero deadlines outlined in the Paris Agreement draw ever closer, the conference also provides delegates with an overview of the key actions and milestones that must be taken to realise the benefits of CCUS.
Commenting on the event, Ruth Herbet, Chief Executive, CCSA, said, “Now in its fourth year, the CCUS 2022 conference is THE conference for CCUS – showcasing the best of this vital net zero industry, across the UK, EU and around the world.”
“The time for CCUS is now and as we look ahead to COP27 in Egypt in November, the CCSA’s flagship conference provides a key opportunity to hear from countries and companies, setting out their CCUS plans and demonstrating their commitment to meeting climate goals.”
With over 400 delegates expected to attend, CCUS 2022 will provide industry with a key opportunity to garner even more interest in a sector labelled by the International Energy Agency (IEA) as ‘vital’ to achieving net zero targets.
