Covering Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, MidState Air Compressor has approximately 15 employees and offers a wide portfolio of air compressors, dryers and related services.
Commenting on the acquisition, Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique at Atlas Copco, said, “MidState Air Compressor has a strong reputation and a large, loyal customer base, which is support by and experience and dedicated team of employees.”
“This acquisition allows us to focus on growing our business and continue to strengthen our market presence in the region.”
In a statement, Atlas Copco said the acquired business will become part of Quincy Compressor, which is part of the Industrial Air division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
The purchase price was not disclosed.
