Announced today, 4th August, APT – which is part of the Yingde-Baosteel Gas-NovaAir Group – became a Category-2 member of AIGA effective from July 2022.
As part of the appointment, Steven Fang, CEO at APT has also been inducted into the AIGA Board with immediate effect.
Commenting on his new membership, Fang said, “I am honoured and happy to join the AIGA Board representing APT and treasure the same.”
“I am eagerly looking forward to contributing to the board and activities of AIGA.”
Headquartered in Shanghai, the company boasts US$3.3 billion in group annual sales achieved through its supply of industrial and medical gases across the continent, with a heavy presence in China, India, and Singapore.
John Panikar, Board President, AIGA, added, “APT’s participation will add further strength to the activities and programmes of AIGA for improving health, safety and environment in the industrial gases industry in Asia.”
The new membership follows the expansion of APT’s Southeast Asian market reach after it undertook a strategic investment into Singapore-headquartered Smart Gas.
