Air Products France began back in 1919 under the name of “Société de Gaz Industriels di Midi.” 100 years on, the company has several industrial gas production and packaging sites and serves more than 30 sectors of activity in France.
“France is an important market for Air Products,” said Ivo Bols, President, Europe and Africa, Air Products.
“With worldwide expertise in various sectors such as the food industry, chemistry, metallurgy and metalworking, aeronautics and healthcare, over the years we have become a major partner of French manufacturers with products and services that we continue to improve in order to respond to regulatory changes, including environmental, as well as their expectations in terms of safety, quality and productivity,” said Bols.
Air Products currently employs nearly 300 people in France and has three gas production plants, seven industrial gas conditioning centres, one European centre for helium distribution and specialised container maintenance and a network of 360 stakeholders.
“For a century, Air Products has been an active partner of companies in France. Its constant efforts in R&D (research and development) have enabled them more than ever to offer year after year of innovative solutions to improve its productivity and the quality of its products while respecting safety and the environment,” said Christophe Buisine, Business Manager of Air Products in France.
