From Minnesota to Florida, the series continues today with engineering and manufacturing firm CO2Meter who will also be launching new products to the market next year.
Founded in 2008, CO2Meter specialises in the design and manufacturing of gas detection and monitoring devices.
Formed as a response to the demanding market needs for quality CO2 detection and monitoring, CO2Meter stands as one of the premier companies in the gas detection industry for over a decade.
The company’s devices are used to detect the presence of carbon dioxide and monitor changes of the air quality to protect those working in and around the gas concentration.
The devices can be used in numerous industries such as food and beverage, safety, agriculture, fire suppression and incubation.
In an exclusive interview with gasworld, CO2Meter’s Director of Marketing, Morgan Morris, emphasises that the company will continue to advance and strive towards further reducing the number of fatalities and incidents caused by CO2 and other hazardous gas concentrations

GW: As we look to 2020, what are CO2Meter’s aims for the year ahead?
MM: Looking into the new year, CO2Meter aims to continue to advance and strive towards further reducing the number of fatalities and incidents caused by CO2 exposure, all while educating those on the potential hazards if not properly aware of the gas’s presence and negative health effects.
We are looking towards also continuing our marketing and sales efforts toward further being recognised as the “go to leading source” for gas detection, monitoring and analysis.
While our business will only continue to grow in scope and size, our staff we have assembled truly allows us to continue to iterate and advance. They are the backbone of our success, to date.
GW: Finally, if you had one thing on your bucket list for the gases industry, what would it be and why?
MM: In terms of the gas industry, we believe it would be beneficial if there was a bigger interest and awareness regarding medical applications and carbon dioxide.
We have seen such an influx in overall incubation and laboratory applications with the gases, but not as much press as we would have anticipated to see, yet!
The 2019 in Review Series continues tomorrow with Pierre Meurgey, Cryospain’s Sales and Marketing Director.
